WHO ARE WE
En Route to Everywhere is a venture out of our comfort zone to share our travel experiences, with the shameless hope that people will appreciate our stories, perspectives and tips. More importantly, it provides us a perfect platform to express and record our memories.
The title represents our attitudes towards travel and life, where every destination is a transition of its own to the next phase in life. And because life never stops, neither should we, in our quest to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. We even made our solemn vows at an intimate travel themed wedding dinner.
Travel excites and amazes us, and the world has so much to offer. We hope that our experiences can inspire more people to take that risk to rediscover themselves through travel. Or at the very least, provide some useful information about the places that we visit.
#200daysinabackpack will be our biggest project to date: A round the world backpacking trip that has been Vik's dream since half his life ago. To actually find that companion who was willing to take that journey with him is an added bonus to a dream come true. Come 13 Aug 15, we will embark on our epic adventure to backpack across 25 countries in 200 days! Follow us on our greatest adventure here or through Facebook and Instagram!

Vik is the travel writer wannabe amongst the two, who has traveled across 32 countries in the past 10 years.
He found his knack for navigation and exploration even before he stepped into the military as an Intelligence Officer. But he never liked being confined to his environment and has always dreamt of traveling the world since he was 16.
He believes that backpacking allows him to experience the true nature of each country. Although he likes packing his schedule, there’s always buffer for rest and room for spontaneity.
A social butterfly and a lover of personal stories, Vik also remembers (or tries to) all 2000 friends on Facebook. Vik’s mantra in life is to go places, live life, do good, and have no regrets.
Growing up in the relatively more dangerous Malaysia and being the eldest daughter of the family, Leann is the more sheltered one amongst the two.
Since young, she would go to her father's friend's travel agency, bring home stacks of travel magazines and tour itineraries, and painstakingly cut and stick the places she wanted to go into her scrapbook. She never thought that her dreams would come true until she took off to Lithuania and spent 6 months in Europe on SMU's Exchange Program. She has traveled across 28 countries thus far.
Her passion for adventure and travel is not always supported by her family. But she believes that we travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.
